Halkidiki Peninsula offered us a straight 5 hours of voluntary off-roading and an industrial dose of greek coffee. The peninsula is easily accessible through a main road and is pupulated by dirt roads and plenty of small, dirty beaches. Apart from this gem of a beach: 4x4 tracks are plentiful and the beach offers more than enough room for a Overland convoy. It seemed like we rolled in on the right day! Joyful parties and families counting 30 members barbecuing and enjoying the day at the beach with their vehicles. Some get stuck, other learned the tricks of soft sand beach driving. We were treated by cuba libre's prepared by two locals who set up a stand. As the sun sank into the sea the daily adventurers left and we were immersed in silence and stardom letting the steaks sizzle on the BBQ. - couple of hours from Thessaloniki 39°57'27.0"N 23°21'31.9"E
